Supergirl Shoots - 08/19/2016, 09/12/2016, 09/13/2016

I stopped by each of the following three Supergirl sets for various amounts of time. I personally don't think that I took enough photos and acquired enough information to separate the shoots into three different posts, so I figured I'd just combine them all into one.

Abbotsford International Airport - 08/19/2016

Photos from the shoot:

This shoot featured Melissa, Chyler, Lynda and Floriana

My view of the shoot. As you can see, I was pretty far away

Some details of this scene are further below

Chyler preparing for a scene

Shoot Details:

The scenes shot at this location were already featured in Episode 3, titled "Welcome to Earth".
I watched them shoot the part where the President and all the extras react to the sudden attack.

I'm impressed with the plane's CGI, considering that the only plane props they worked with were the stairs and the exit panel.

Here's the finished product:

Downtown Vancouver (MNP Tower) - 09/12/2016

Photos from the shoot:

This shoot featured Melissa and one or two thieves

A short video of a take (or rehearsal):

Shoot Details:

From what I saw... Supergirl confronts a thief who is wearing a black ski mask. He points a gun at her face. Something distracts Supergirl, and she turns around. Another man approaches with a more advanced looking gun. I believe that this man also wore a red ski mask during actual takes.

New Westminster (The Block of 628 Carnarvon St) - 09/13/2016

Filming at 628 Carnarvon Street, featuring Melissa, Chyler, Floriana and James Bamford...

Shoot Details:

Melissa jumps in order to simulate Supergirl landing after flight. She walks towards Chyler and Floriana and they discuss and inspect the trunk of a car. I wonder what was inside... Any guesses?

Alright, that's all I have for now. My apologies for the mediocre photos and set details, but hopefully you enjoyed!

Thanks!

Arrow Shoot - 104 Ave & 142 St, Surrey - 09/08/2016

I was at this set for over 4 hours. During this time, I saw Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, Echo Kellum, Madison McLaughlin and Rick Gonzalez.

However, I did not take photos of all of them. I tried my best, but when crew politely asked me to stop, I respectfully put my camera away. Since I'll definitely be going to more sets in the future, I don't want to build a bad reputation. I'm just a fan, not a paparazzo.

Photos from the shoot:

Willa Holland during her break. Emily Bett joined Willa shortly after but I have no pictures of her. I didn't see Willa and Emily film any exterior scenes either. Crew said they were involved in interiors.

Wild Dog, Artemis (I think), and a mysterious hooded figure (Ragman?) on top of the building. All stunt doubles I'm assuming

Unfortunately, I left after this.

Shoot Details:

I was able to watch them film the zip line stunt scene, which was one part of a chaotic sequence featuring many extras.

There were two visible fires and the flea market was crowded with extras who were running around in panic.

Stephen was in the Green Arrow costume but he didn't zip line all the way down of course. He simply jumped and acted out the landing part. I think it's safe to assume that his double did the actual zip lining, but I did not see his double in action.

Echo and David's doubles were reeled high up on the zip line. The order of landing is as pictured above. The Green Arrow leads the way, followed by Mr. Terrific and then Spartan. It was definitely awesome to watch this stunt!

As soon as they all hit the ground, they ran to their right. This is where a switch occurred. David and Echo replaced their stunt doubles, and then joined Stephen. They all ran towards the deranged flea market.

Another short scene featured Madison as Artemis. She was in the middle of the chaos in the flea market. From what I saw, I think she heard or saw one or two children in distress. She approached them and then appeared to guide them to safety. A short video of this is below. As you can see, crew members tried their best to block our view which is why I can't provide too many details.

I know all of the photos and the video in this post aren't great at all, but hopefully you found them worthwhile. I will continue to improve with each set that I visit.

Thanks!

Legends of Tomorrow Shoot - North 40 Park Reserve - 08/30/2016

Shoot Details:

I was able to watch them film one scene from various camera angles. Unfortunately, no main cast members were involved.

An actor inside the ship talks/yells into the communications panel. Sparks emerge from the interior ceiling of the ship, and the actor reacts as though the ship is falling violently through the air. I'm assuming the ship crashes at this point. He then basically crawls out of the ship by pushing the broken glass, while writhing in pain. He drops to his knees. Soldiers then approach him at gunpoint.
